Anatoly Bibilov met with the delegation of Abkhazia

President of South Ossetia Anatoly Bibilov held a meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Abkhazia, which arrived in the Republic of South Ossetia as international observers for the presidential elections, the press service of the head of state reports.

The delegation has included the RA Minister of Emergency Situations Lev Kvitsinia, the RA Ambassador to South Ossetia Alan Elbakiev, representatives of the deputy corps.

Anatoly Bibilov received the delegation of the DPR

President Anatoly Bibilov held a meeting with the delegation of the Donetsk People's Republic, which arrived in the Republic of South Ossetia as international observers for the second round of presidential elections in South Ossetia, the presidential press service reports.

The delegation has included deputies of the People's Council of the DPR Viktor Ishchenko and Vasily Pertsev.

The head of state congratulated the guests on the upcoming Victory Day and expressed gratitude for their visit.

Anatoly Bibilov met with the delegation of the LPR

President Anatoly Bibilov has received a delegation of the Lugansk People's Republic, which arrived in the Republic of South Ossetia as international election observers, the press service of the head of state reports.

The delegation has included members of the People's Council of the LPR Pavel Pilavov and Zhanna Marfina.

The meeting was also attended by the deputy of the RSO Parliament Valery Kokoev.

Presidential elections in South Ossetia considered successful, - CEC

The total turnout of voters in South Ossetia, who took part in the voting for the presidential elections in the Republic, by 14.00 was 40.4 percent, the head of the CEC of the Republic of South Ossetia, Emilia Gagieva, told the “Res” news agency.

"40.4 percent of the voters included in the voting lists took part in the second round of the elections, the required 30 percent threshold has been exceeded, respectively, the elections are considered successful," she has specified.

All polling stations opened at 8:00 am. Presidential voting has started in South Ossetia

In South Ossetia on Sunday, at 8 am, polling stations opened, the presidential elections have started. As the CEC secretary Kristina Avlokhova told the “Res” news agency, “the activity of voters is being observed at the polling stations, according to the information coming from the remote villages polling stations, the voting process there began without excesses.”

Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia is serving in an enhanced version. All polling stations of the Republic are under protection.
