The South Ossetian battalion in Donbass will be provided with technical support on the front line

The formation of technical support has begun for the heroic Tskhinvali infantry, Oleg Marzoev, a military expert from North Ossetia, reports in his telegram channel.

“Several dozens of thermal imaging sights and monocular, as well as a quadcopter, have already been planned to be sent to our South Ossetian army battalion, which is fighting on the front line. This will be reported upon dispatch in the near future," Marzoev said.

According to him, 100 R123A batteries, chargers, blocks for them were purchased for the sights.

The Incumbent President of South Ossetia, Anatoly Bibilov, awarded Soslan Yasonovich Gabaraev with the Order of Uatsamonga (posthumously) for courage and heroism shown in defending the independence and territorial integrity of the Republic, the press service of the head of state reports.

“He showed an example of courage and bravery here, in South Ossetia, and during the conflict in the North Caucasus, and in Abkhazia. He really was a brave warrior, he was a hero, a hero for all of us,” the President said.

The Victory Parade began on Theater Square in the capital of South Ossetia

The military parade to mark the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War began in Tskhinval. To the sounds of the song "Holy War", the national flag of the Republic and the banner of Victory were carried to the square.

Incumbent President Anatoly Bibilov, former presidents Ludwig Chibirov and Leonid Tibilov, Russian Ambassador to the Republic Marat Kulakhmetov, veterans, heads of the law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments, as well as the invited guests, rose to the podium.

Anatoly Bibilov met with the delegation of Abkhazia

Anatoly Bibilov received the delegation of the DPR
