At the end of March, South Ossetia will receive the Sputnik V vaccine in the amount of 1,500 doses. This was announced during a video bridge at the Sputnik press center in Tskhinval on Friday.
Member of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy, Honored Doctor of Russia Vladimir Krugly, has stated that delivery and receipt of this vaccine is important for any country, this is the only way to defeat the pandemic.
"56 countries have approved this vaccine. And those republics that wanted to start vaccination have such an opportunity," he said.
Deputy Head of the South Ossetian Consumer Supervision Committee Anna Gagloeva, Chief Infectious Disease Specialist Eleonora Dzhioeva, Chief Physician of the Health Ministry Tamara Sanakoeva attended the video bridge.
